Legionella ELISA kit

Legionella Urinary Antigen Test kit

Now our kits include 1 vial positive control

Positive Control-what is it?
Essentially the positive control is a little vial that contains the Legionella Antigen.

Why use it?

You use it to verify the quality of the test kit

How to use it?

It’s actually easy. You perform the test using the positive control the same way that you would test your own sample.

Several laboratory tests can be used to detect the Legionella bacteria within the body.  The most commonly used laboratory test for diagnosis is the urinary antigen test, which detects Legionella bacteria from a urine specimen, or sample.

Our Legionella Urinary Antigen Test has the following features:

  • Detect Legionella pneumophila ATCCstrain 33152 at about 3000 CFU/mL

  • Does not cross react with Klebsiella pneumonia, Enterobacter and E. Coli
