SSA (Ro)ELISA Kit Background Information:
Autoantibodies directed against SSA and SSB may be observed in patients with SLE and Sjogren disease. SSA antibodies are frequently present in the serum of ANA negative SLE patients, such
as subacute cutaneous lupus erythematosus, a lupus-like syndrome associated with a homozygous C2 deficiency, and in a subset of patients who lack anti-dsDNA antibodies

SSA (Ro) ELISA Test Principle:
The Diagnostic Automation SSA (Ro) ELISA test kit is designed to detect IgG class antibodies to different autoantigens in human sera. Wells of plastic microwell strips are sensitized by passive absorption with immobilized antigens. The test procedure involves three incubation steps. For additional details please refer to the instructions for use.

Notable features of Autoimmune Disease ELISA Kits:
User-friendly directions and explanation of test procedures
Simple and safe reagent preparation
Clear instructions on specimen collection
Comprehensive package of required materials
Explicit quality control and storage guidelines
Reliable and easy-to-read test results

Product inserts for all Autoimmune ELISA kits follow a similar method. See the SSA (Ro) ELISA Kit product insert for specific details on preparation, procedures, quality control, and test result interpretation.
